Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy services aim to support individuals to achieve life goals through participation and engagement. Support and therapy explores remedial and compensatory strategies to assist individuals with returning to previous or maximal functioning, as well as recommending supports to compensate for any disability in order to enable someone to achieve their goals.

Melissa
This is Melissa 👋🏼 she was referred to Pace by her rheumatologist to manage her pain whilst living with Fibromyalgia. She works with the team at Pace Sandringham and through the NDIS Scheme to restore and maintain her strength, mobility, balance and aerobic capacity and says it’s her ‘self-care’ time.
Trevor
Trevor is one of our most regular NDIS Clients! Since attending Pace, Trevor’s exercise program has been developed to improve his cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and balance.

Accredited practising Dietitians are University trained allied health professionals who are experts in the field of food and nutrition. Dietitians apply the latest scientific evidence to optimise health and assist in managing an array of medical conditions, including but not limited to; chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease, cancer, intolerance, allergy and gastrointestinal disorders.

Paediatric Speech Pathology focuses on assessing and treating children with speech, language, communication, and feeding difficulties.
Speech Pathologists help children develop essential skills for effective communication, including speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication, and literacy.

Paediatric Psychology focuses on supporting children and adolescents with emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges.
Paediatric Psychologists help young individuals manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, and other mental health concerns through evidence-based therapies. They also assist with social skills, emotional regulation, and coping strategies to improve overall well-being.
